Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. chicken
1 bay leaf
1 stalk celery
1 lb. shell macaroni
1/4 lb. fat (from chicken)
2/3 c. flour
1 green pepper
1 qt. milk
1/2 lb. American cheese
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
1 can mushrooms
1 onion
buttered crumbs
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cook chicken, bay leaf and celery together.
When done, cut chicken in cubes.
Cook macaroni in chicken broth.
Make white sauce with fat, milk and flour.
Cut cheese in cubes and add to white sauce.
Stir until melted.
Add mushrooms, pepper and onion. Combine all and put in large oiled baking dish or 3 small ones. Top with buttered crumbs and bake 30 minutes.
