Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 (15 to 16 oz.) cans whole peeled tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chili powder (or more if desired)
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion; drain fat.
    Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 30 to 60 minutes.
    Serve with oyster crackers.
    Makes approximately 7 cups.
