Country-House Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 stick oleo
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    4 Baker's German's chocolate bars
    1 extra large Hershey semi-sweet chocolate bar
    1 1/2 pt. Marshmallow Creme
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Boil together the sugar, salt, oleo and milk.
    Gently boil for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Start timing after mixture has reached full gentle boiling point.
    Remove from heat.
    Add all chocolates; stir until melted.
    Add Marshmallow Creme and vanilla; stir until all mixed.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into greased pans or cookie sheets.
    Cool several hours, then cut to store in airtight containers.
    Keep cool.
    One batch makes 12 pounds.
