Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    6 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flour and milk, alternating and ending with flour.
    Fold in flavoring.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Start in cold oven and do not open oven while baking.
