Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. corn meal
    2 c. hot skim milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 c. cold skim milk
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Slowly add corn meal into hot milk, stirring over low heat until thick (15 minutes).
    Remove from heat.
    Mix sugar, soda and spices and stir into corn meal mixture.
    Thoroughly mix in molasses and cold milk.
    Pour into 1-quart casserole dish.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 hours.
    Serve warm sprinkled with nutmeg.
