Favorite Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pinto or kidney beans or 2 (16 oz.) cans
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes
    2 lb. coarsely ground chuck or turkey, browned and drained
    1 green pepper, coarsely chopped
    1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soften beans or use canned. Put all ingredients in crock-pot in order listed. Stir once. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or high 5 to 6 hours. Makes 6 servings.
