Microwave Fried Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 5 medium potatoes
    butter
    shredded cheddar cheese, optional
    onion, optional
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes. Place in microwave safe casserole dish. Cover potatoes with butter and microwave for 5 minutes. Remove and stir. Place back in microwave covered for 15 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top if desired. For added flavor, add chopped onion.
