American Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. unflavored kosher gelatin
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    2 c. raw cashews
    1/4 c. yeast flakes
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. onion powder
    1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    4 oz. pimento or 1/2 large sweet pepper or 2 Tbsp. paprika
Preparation
    In blender, soak gelatin in cold water.
    Assemble other ingredients.
    Add
    boiling water and whiz briefly to dissolve. Add cashews and liquify.
    Add remaining ingredients and blend creamy.
