Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 potatoes, peeled and cooked
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    8 oz. sour cream
    3 Tbsp. chives
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic salt (optional)
    butter
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Blend the cream cheese and sour cream in a small bowl.
    Set aside.
    Mash potatoes thoroughly until smooth.
    Add cream cheese mixture and beat well.
    Stir in chives.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.
    At this point potatoes may be covered and put in refrigerator.
    One hour before serving, dot with butter and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and paprika.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
