Irene'S Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. melted Crisco
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs and almond.
    Mix together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Add chopped nuts.
    Roll cookie dough into logs; wrap in wax paper and plastic wrap.
    Refrigerate or freeze logs to bake later.
    Slice and bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
