Mom'S Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    3 c. flour, sifted 3 times
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    6 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together.
    Add egg yolks, 2 at a time. Blend soda with sour cream.
    Add sour cream and flour alternately to butter and sugar.
    Beat mixture for 3 minutes.
    Whip egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into batter and beat for 3 minutes.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
    Bake for 60 to 70 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Remove from pan immediately and carefully.
    When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
