Bertha'S Skillet(Easy For Children And Teens) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 (12 or 16 oz.) pkg. broad noodles
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 or 2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    salt, pepper, chili powder or garlic salt and oregano for desired Mexican or Italian flavor
Preparation
    Brown meat; saute onion in large casserole dish.
    Drain. Sprinkle dry noodles over meat.
    Add dry seasonings, then pour tomatoes, sauce and very little water over noodles.
    Stir only slightly; meat, noodles and sauce should remain layered.
    Bring mixture to a boil.
    Reduce to low heat, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
    Do not stir.
    Let sit for about 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
