Taco Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    taco chips (for 9 x 13-inch pan)
    sliced American cheese
    ground beef and onion
    2 cans mushroom soup
    1 can green chiles, chopped
    16 oz. tomato sauce
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion; drain.
    Add soup, tomato sauce and green chiles.
    Put some in pan; cover with chips.
    Top with layer of American cheese.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 until melted.
    May add more layers to make thicker.
    I usually double layers.
