Oven Barbecued Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. catsup
    1/4 to 1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut steak into 10 equal portions.
    Pour oil in skillet and heat.
    Brown steak on each side for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Transfer to baking dish.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
    Pour over steak in baking dish and bake, covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until very tender.
