Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 pinch salt
    1 pkg. dates, cut up
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix boiling water and brown sugar and let stand.
    Mix together flour, sugar, vanilla, baking powder, milk, salt, dates and nuts. Put in large greased baking bowl.
    Pour water and brown sugar over the top.
    Do not mix.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour 10 minutes.
