Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole strawberries
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 c. white sugar
Preparation
    Place over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Bring to a boil and boil 15 to 20 minutes.
    Make jelly test and skim when necessary.
    Pour into a shallow pan and let stand overnight.
    Next morning, fill sterilized jars with cool preserves.
    Paraffin wax may be added.
    Seal.
    Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
    Recipe may be doubled, if desired.
