Caramel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 egg yolks
1 c sugar
4 T flour
2 c sweet milk
1 c sugar, browned
1 tsp vanilla
2 T butter
Preparation

Beat yolks.
Add sugar, flour and milk; set aside.
Melt and brown 1 cup sugar, then add egg yolks, sugar, flour and milk mixture.
Stir until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla and butter. Pour into a baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue and brown.
