Lefsa - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. mashed potatoes
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. whipping cream
3 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 c. or more flour
Preparation

Boil white potatoes with jackets on.
Peel, mash or rice.
Add Crisco, cream, salt and sugar.
Cool overnight.
Mix in flour with hands.
Make into walnut size balls or larger.
Roll thin with lefsa rolling pin (with a sock on).
Put on hot griddle.
Makes 25 to 30.
