Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. peeled sliced carrots
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. bread stuffing
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Cook carrots in salted water and drain.
    Meanwhile, cook onions in butter until soft.
    Stir in soup, salt, cheese, pepper and carrots.
    Place in 2-quart casserole dish.
    Toss bread stuffing with 1/2 cup melted butter.
    Spoon over carrots and bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes or until bubbly and hot.
    (I use 2 extra ribs of celery, cut and cooked with carrots because I like celery.)
