Orzo Cooked In Saffron Broth - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chicken broth
1/8 tsp. saffron threads or a pinch of saffron powder
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1 Tbsp. thinly sliced green scallion tops
1 c. orzo
Preparation

In a medium saucepan, heat the broth to boiling.
Stir in the orzo and butter.
Cook, covered, over low heat until liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
Sprinkle with scallions; serve at once.
