Jake Louthan'S Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    4 c. milk
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    4 c. flour
    4 c. flour sifted with 3 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In a large pan, bring sugar, Crisco and milk to a boil and then cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Add to milk mixture, then add 4 cups flour.
    Let set 2 hours or until double in size. Add another 4 cups flour which has been sifted with baking powder, salt and soda.
    Next, add only enough to knead and put in a greased bowl in the refrigerator.
    Punch dough down when it rises.
    Keeps about 1 week. Bake rolls at 425\u00b0 about 12 minutes.
