Ham And Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple
    2 c. chopped, cooked ham
    2 c. sliced, cooked yams
    1/3 c. packed brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
Preparation
    Put butter and onion into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Place in microwave for 2 minutes on High.
    After 1 minute, stir lightly. Blend flour into onion and butter; stir in pineapple juice.
    Cook, uncovered, in microwave 1 minute on High (or until thick).
    Stir crushed pineapple, brown sugar and ham into sauce.
    Place mixture in center of an 8-inch glass dish.
    Put sliced yams around outer edge.
    Cover with wax paper.
    Heat in microwave oven 6 to 8 minutes on High.
