Summer Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 yellow squash
    1 medium onion, chopped or sliced
    salt to taste
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    3 eggs
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Peel and slice squash.
    Cook in small amount of water with onion, salt and sugar until tender.
    Drain.
    Mix eggs and soup with margarine.
    Add more salt if you like.
    Put in casserole and bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Add cheese and crumbs. Return to oven and brown.
