Cecilia'S Flour Tortilla - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    4 to 6 Tbsp. vegetable shortening (Crisco)
    1 1/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
    Using a pastry cutter or fork, cut in the shortening.
    Add warm water a little at a time until dough is soft and sticky.
    Knead the dough for a few minutes. Pull off pieces of the dough to form about 12 small balls.\tLet them rest for about 10 minutes.
    It is a good idea to dust each ball (as well as your working surface) with a little flour just before you roll them out.
