Pear Bran Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. molasses
1/4 c. honey
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. oat bran
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. finely chopped fresh pears
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat molasses, honey, and egg until well blended.
Stir in buttermilk and oil.
Combine flour, bran, brown sugar, salt and soda.
Add to buttermilk mixture.
Blend until smooth.
Fold in pears and nuts.
Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 65 to 70 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.
