Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    corn flake crumbs
Preparation
    Slice potatoes into 1/4-inch thick slices and boil.
    Cut up onion and cook in microwave oven for about 2 minutes.
    Mix potatoes, onion, soup, sour cream, 1/2 stick of butter (melted) and cheese.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 11-inch casserole dish.
    Top with corn flake crumbs and 1/2 stick of melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
