Old Time Buttermilk Pie(Makes 1 Deep Dish (9-Inch) Pie Or 2 (9-Inch) Shallow Pies) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

unbaked pie shells
1/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 rounded Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or pecan halves, if buttermilk pecan pie is wanted
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add sugar, flour and eggs.
Mix well.
Stir in buttermilk and vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Pecans can be added to the mix or put on pie crust before you pour in mix. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until brown.
The pecans will rise to the top while baking.
Allow to cool completely before serving.
