Meatballs In Cherry Sauce(Serves 6 To 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
    2 c. red tart frozen sweetened cherries, thawed
    1 c. frozen sweet cherries, thawed
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
Preparation
    Meatballs:
    Mix all ingredients.
    Shape into balls about the size of a walnut.
    Brown in an ungreased skillet on medium-low heat.
    Drain and add the following sauce.
    Serve over rice or with potatoes.
