Grilled Bacon-Cheese Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
    2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    1/3 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 tsp. margarine, melted
    8 slices day-old bread
    8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. margarine, divided
Preparation
    Combine cheese and 2 tablespoons of margarine.
    Mix well and set aside.
    Saute mushrooms in 1 teaspoon melted margarine. Drain.
    Spread cheese mixture evenly on one side of 4 bread slices, leaving 1/2-inch margarine on edge.
    Sprinkle with mushrooms and bacon.
    Top with remaining bread and press gently together.
    Combine eggs and milk.
    Dip sandwiches into egg mixture.
    Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine in a large skillet.
    Add 2 sandwiches and cook over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown.
    Turn sandwiches and repeat.
    Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining margarine and sandwiches.
