Sausage Swirls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. plain cornmeal
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. oil
2/3 to 1 c. milk
1 lb. each hot and mild sausage
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Blend in oil.
Add milk to make a stiff dough.
Roll dough out thinly on a floured board into 2 (10 x 18-inch) rectangles.
Mix sausages and spread on dough. Roll up lengthwise.
Chill well and slice.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen.
May freeze rolls and bake later.
