Caramel Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 1/2 sticks melted margarine
1 c. chopped nuts
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. evaporated milk (for caramel mixture)
1/3 c. evaporated milk (for cake mix)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Melt caramels and evaporated milk and set aside.
Mix cake mix, margarine, evaporated milk and nuts.
Press half of mixture in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes. Take from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
Pour on melted caramels.
Crumble the other half of dough mixture on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
