Oriental Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. cooked rice
3 c. diced cooked chicken
1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 c. sliced celery
1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles
Preparation

Make cream sauce with margarine, flour and milk.
Add cheese, soy sauce, salt and pepper; stir until cheese melts.
Combine rice, chicken, water chestnuts, mushrooms and celery.
Place alternate layers of chicken-rice mixture and sauce mixture in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Arrange noodles around edge of casserole and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
