Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) can English peas
    1 (17 oz.) can white Shoe Peg corn
    1 (17 oz.) can French-style green beans
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos
    1/2 c. celery
    1/2 to 1 c. green peppers
    1/2 c. onions
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Heat vinegar, sugar, pepper, salt and oil only over low heat until it comes to a boil.
    Pour gently over vegetables and chill overnight.
