Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. oil
6 to 8 green onions, sliced
3 to 4 green peppers, cut
2 stalks celery, cut thin
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
Preparation

Cut beef into thin strips.
Combine with soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
Stir and set aside while preparing vegetables.
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Add beef and stir over high heat until browned.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes on low heat.
Turn heat up and add vegetables.
Stir until tender, but crisp, about 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water; add to pan.
Stir until thickened.
Add tomatoes and heat through.
Serve over rice.
