Bunelos(Fried Sugar Tortillas) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 beaten eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    fat for frying
    Anise Syrup
Preparation
    In saucepan, heat milk and butter to boiling; cool.
    Stir in beaten eggs.
    Stir together flour, baking powder and salt; add egg mixture and mix well.
    Knead dough on lightly floured surface 2 to 3 minutes until smooth.
    Shape into 20 balls.
    Let rest for 5 minutes.
    Roll each ball into a 4-inch circle.
