Oven-Baked Round Steak With Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 or 1 3/4 lb. round steak
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil (more as needed)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1/2 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cut round steak into serving-size pieces. Heat a skillet with 2 tablespoons oil until hot.
    Put flour on a plate.
    One at a time, flour round steaks and put immediately into hot skillet without crowding.
    Brown quickly on one side, then quickly on the other, adding 1 tablespoon of oil as needed.
    Put browned steaks into roaster or heatproof heavy casserole.
