Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can salmon, flaked (2 c.; we prefer red)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. finely grated onion
    2 Tbsp. flour (plain)
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. packaged fine bread crumbs or 1 c. cold mashed potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    additional fine bread crumbs
Preparation
    Combine ingredients (do not drain salmon) except additional crumbs and butter, mixing with a fork until blended.
    Shape into 9 patties, using 1/4 cup each.
    Flatten out slightly.
    Dip into the additional crumbs.
    Preheat electric frypan to 320\u00b0.
    When light goes out, melt butter.
    Add patties, brown, turning to brown on both sides.
    Can be served with chili sauce or catsup; we eat them plain.
    Garnish with parsley.
