Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    2 c. catsup (Heinz or Del Monte)
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
Preparation
    Brown onion in butter.
    Lower heat to simmer.
    Add catsup; heat until bubbling.
    Add brown sugar and molasses; taste test, use more or less brown sugar according to taste.
    Add lemon juice to desired tartness.
    Makes enough for 2 to 3 pounds meat.
