Fruit Soup(Sotsuppe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. prunes
1 c. raisins, apricots and currants (optional)
1 stick cinnamon
1 small can frozen grape juice
1 c. sugar
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
4 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
Preparation

Wash fruit and soak 1 hour or longer in water to cover (about 2 quarts).
Add cinnamon and sugar; cook until fruit is almost done.
Add tapioca and cook until clear.
Remove from stove.
Add grape juice, orange and lemon.
This can be varied by adding other fruit.
If soup is too thick, add more fruit juice.
Serve either hot as soup or cold as dessert.
