Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 green bell peppers
1 onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/4 c. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. Minute rice
1 c. chopped canned tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation

Cut green peppers into halves; remove seeds and membrane. Parboil in water to cover in saucepan for 5 minutes.
Saute onion and celery in butter in skillet for 4 to 5 minutes, or until tender.
Add ground beef; cook until ground beef is no longer pink, stirring until crumbly.
Cook rice, using package directions.
Add rice, tomatoes and tomato sauce to ground beef mixture.
Cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
Spoon into pepper halves.
Place in baking dish.
Spoon any remaining sauce over peppers.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until peppers are tender.
Serves 16.
