Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices white bread
1 can tomatoes (pt.)
salt
pepper
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 stalks celery
1 medium size onion
Preparation

Break bread in small pieces.
Chop celery and onion and brown lightly in butter.
Add bread and mix.
Chop tomatoes.
Add bread mixture to tomatoes and mix.
Add sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
Place in a 1-quart baking dish and dot with butter.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
