Mammaw'S Ham And Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) bag pinto beans
    leftover ham bone (with some meat left on the bone)
    water
Preparation
    Rinse pinto beans.
    Remove any stones or old beans.
    Soak beans in water overnight in refrigerator.
    Drain; add ham bone to beans and cover with water.
    Simmer on stove top for 8 hours or cook in slow cooker on low for 15 to 18 hours.
    Serve over cornbread.
