Greek Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, torn
2 tomatoes, cut in eighths
2 scallions, chopped
1/4 c. crumbled Feta cheese
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
1/2 c. Greek black olives
1/2 c. olive oil
2 tsp. dried oregano
1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Preparation

In large serving bowl, place lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, green pepper, scallions, olives and cheese.
Combine olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper and garlic and beat with a fork until well blended.
Pour over salad and mix well.
Serves 6 to 8.
