Shrimp Boil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (16 oz.) cans or 4 (12 oz.) bottles beer or 1 1/2 qt. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 lb. fresh or frozen raw medium shrimp in shells
    Cocktail Sauce (recipe below)
Preparation
    In large kettle, heat beer and salt to boiling.
    Add shrimp; heat just to boiling.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 3 to 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Serve with Cocktail Sauce.
