Ingredients

4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
whipped cream
4 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
pinch of salt
3 eggs, separated
toasted almonds
Preparation

Combine chocolate, sugar and butter in top of double boiler and stir until melted. Add nutmeg and salt. Separate eggs. Beat yolks and add to chocolate mixture. Stir and cook for 2 or 3 minutes over boiling water.
Beat whites until stiff and fold into the chocolate mixture when it has cooled.
Spoon into after dinner coffee cups and place in refrigerator for several hours.
Serve topped with whipped cream and toasted almonds.
