Nutty Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small green pepper, diced
    1 small onion, diced
    1 stick butter
    1 can beef consomme
    1 can beef bouillon
    1 can water
    1 c. rice
    salt and black pepper to taste
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Saute green pepper and onion in butter.
    Press this into 8 x 12-inch casserole dish.
    Add to this the can of beef consomme and beef bouillon.
    With one of the empty cans, add 1 can of water, 1 cup rice, salt, pepper and 1 package of slivered almonds.
    Stir mixture together.
    Bake in a covered dish for 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Serves 8.
