Mild Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 c. skinned tomatoes (firm tomatoes; not overripe)
    4 c. diced onions
    4 c. diced bell peppers
    1 c. jalapeno peppers (wear gloves when cutting)
    1 1/3 c. white vinegar
    4 Tbsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. garlic powder
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato paste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in large kettle. Cook over low heat, simmering for 1 hour. Fill clean, hot pint or quart jars and cover with 2 piece lids. Place in hot water bath for 20 minutes. Yield: 7 quarts or 14 pints.
