Melissa'S Fairy Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 yeast cakes
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour water over shortening.
    Stir until melted and cool.
    Drop in eggs, yeast and sugar; beat with egg beater.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.
    Let rise about 2 hours.
    Roll out and cut like biscuits.
    Let rise for 1 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes or until brown.
