Me Ma'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening or lard
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cut
    shortening
    into
    dry ingredients.
    Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Knead into dough.
    Roll out to desired thickness (very thin)
    and cut in different shapes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    You
    may\tsprinkle
    with\tsugar
    or sugar and cinnamon before you cut.
