Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. peeled and sliced apples
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation

Place apples and water, layered, in a 10 x 6-inch baking pan. Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt into a bowl.
Cut in margarine or butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Serve plain or with vanilla ice cream.
